The Victorian Walled Garden has been rejuvenated beautifully to provide a perfect setting for marquee weddings and receptions, with surrounding gardens and ample parking. All areas are wheelchair accessible.
The Walled Garden, with marquee lawn, fine gravel paths with formal box hedging and vibrant flower borders, all contained within the high walls, provides a spacious (1.25 acres) but private and exclusive setting for your special day. See the Marquee Weddings.
The Castle and historic grounds offer an abundance of formal and informal backdrops to make your wedding album a treasure trove of memories. Wedding Photographs.
To ensure you look and feel your best on the day, we have created a sumptuously furnished, bespoke Bride’s Room, exclusively for the use of the bride and her bridesmaids, with seating, changing and WC facilities and wheelchair access.
Access to the Castle car park is along the imposing entrance drive. The large dedicated car park provides space for more than 50 cars, with additional spaces available if required, and offers level access to the Walled Garden which is directly adjacent.
Owing to the limited size of the reception rooms, the Castle itself is not currently available for functions. However, if you have a special request or suggestion, we will do our best to assist in any way we can.
For the use of the Walled Garden, Bride’s Room and Gardens for photographs, we charge £2000.
